Try A Monthly Reset
I use a daily planner - my Google Keep List - to write out the 3 things I must get done that day.
I use my Monday morning meetings with colleagues to share what I've done that week and what I plan to do the coming week. I also get awesome feedback and support (and do the best I can to give great feedback and support).
For a long time this was all I needed.
Then I decided to add a new element to my business. It's an ecommerce element. Something I've not done at this level.
Combine the "something new" with the ever present concern about my mother and then traveling to help care for my mother and - well - a lot of things didn't get done.
For many months, I did show up at the Monday morning meetings and I did keep up with the daily planning. Then she passed at the end of January.
And I did a reset. It wasn't quite like starting over. It was more like taking time to assess and recalibrate. It was so helpful that I did it again at the beginning of March. And I'm planning to do it again at the beginning of April.
I'm finding this monthly reset lets me hit pause on purpose. What I'm assessing is 4 or more weeks of accumulated effort vs a daily to-do list or even weekly done list. And I feel more successful. I feel like the effort has been worth it. I feel like I'm making progress.

A Marketing Tip
Did you know…
your current/new buyer is ready to buy more?
Reach out to all your customers the same day of their initial purchase. You'll likely find that 10% to 25% of them are ready to buy again.
That's been my experience. On my Thank You pages I have additional offers. Some of them relate to what they initially purchased. Some don't. My buyers buy more - because they're in a buying state of mind. They're already "sold" on me and my offer.

aka random bits of info you may or may not be able to use in your life
Several times between 1935 and 1940, a proposed amendment to the Constitution of the United States was presented to Congress. It called for a national referendum on any declaration of war by Congress, except in cases when the United States had been attacked first. This means citizens would have to vote "Yes" on the referendum first. The kicker was that anyone who cast a ballot in favor of war would have been required to register as a volunteer for service in the United States Army. Yep, you vote for war you volunteer to fight in it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludlow_Amendment

PS This post is sponsored by Wealthfront - the easy to use, FDIC insured, High Yield Savings Account I’ve been using with great success. I searched for HYSA because I wanted same day access to my cash - and I was tired of the less than 1% my bank was paying me. Then I found Wealthfront, connected my savings account to it, transferred a lot of cash, saw quick results, transferred more, and am quite pleased with the results.
